‘There is more microplastic in the ocean than there are stars in the Milky Way. And there has been for some time. More than all the stars in the bloody Milky Way. Just imagine that! The bloody Milky Way. And now I ask again. What do you think of that?’

The world is over. We burnt it down. And of course, there’s only one way to punish such a grievous mistake. With more fire.

Tim, Harry and Ella have been sent on a mission — destroy a fracking plant, send a message. Only when everything is already destroyed and giant chunks of ice are falling from the sky. It doesn—t seem there's that much left to say.

Henry Roberts (LOBES)returns to the BoxedIn stage with his second full–length play, a riveting and challenging look at eco-terrorism and our relationship with the environment. Swallows delivers an important message of caution, and (perhaps more importantly) a vital message of hope.
