Work With Us

So you're interested in working with the first EVER zero-waste theatre project in the UK (possibly in the world, we're not sure yet)? Great! Starting at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019, The Greenhouse quickly gained speed, appearing in The New York Times, The Guardian, and on Radio 4. Hosting a programme of 8 shows, as well as a workshop series and a number of music nights, everything about this project — from each individual show to our marketing strategies to the venue itself — is completely zero-waste. We aim to spark discussion and provide practical support to artists and audience members on how to live and work more sustainably. And all while demonstrating that it is possible (and even easy) to make top quality theatre in a way that is deeply sustainable! Take a look at all the exciting opportunities that we have available for you and let us know what you fancy! If you need any support or aditional information, please feel free to get in touch!

The Greenhouse Theatre — the first ever zero-waste theatre project in the UK — is leading the way in making sustainable theatre. And we're currently programming for our next summer season, including 3 weeks in London and a month at the Edinburgh Fringe. If you're passionate about theatre and it's potential to make the world a better, greener place, this is a great opportunity to start sparking discussion!

What we're looking for
We are seeking production teams and companies to partner with to deliver this project. We are particularly interested in hearing from production teams, although we will consider applications from individual applicants who may wish to be connected with other individuals to create a production at The Greenhouse. All we ask is that the project you suggest discusses the natural environment and our relationship to it in some way. Take a look at the application pack for information about what we offer and what we expect when working with us!

If you are interested in applying, please read the Application pack, then fiil it in, and send it to our Head of Production Sarah Chamberlain at before 23:59 on Friday 29th November

The Greenhouse Theatre — the first ever zero-waste theatre project in the UK — is leading the way in making sustainable theatre. We are currently expanding the project, aiming to pop-up in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe in the summer of 2020, and we are looking for a passionate, driven, and well-organised Head of Marketing to help make this possible! This position will run from November 2019 to August 2020, with potential for renewal/becoming permanent on completion.

The Role
This role will involve working with our Artistic Director to create and lead marketing strategies both for The Greenhouse as a whole and the 4 - 6 shows within it. The role will also involve managing press relations and attending press-events, and managing the street-team for marketing The Greenhouse. Please see information pack for more information!
