If a tree falls in a forest and no one gives a flying f*ck, does it really fall at all? Inspired by Ovid’s myth Daphne and Apollo, this ecofeminist drama recasts Daphne as an impassioned environmentalist, battling big business, a boastful boyfriend, and a pressuring father. As tensions between Daphne and Apollo rise, Daphne must decide what she is willing to sacrifice for the sake of saving the planet. From Scottish playwright/director Isla Cowan comes an exciting new play about trees, family trees, and female liberation.
