Our Work

The Greenhouse is the UK’s first zero-waste theatre. We create multi-award-winning, deeply human shows in a sustainable way, for the young and curious who are looking for unique and affordable social experiences to share with friends. We harness our medium to build a relaxed, friendly, social atmosphere that anyone can enjoy. People come to us for top-quality shows, an innovative (inexpensive) bar, and a full calendar of events and workshops. They stay safe in the knowledge that, every moment they’re here, they’re doing their bit to protect our planet.

Coming Up

We’ve got loads of exciting shows on the horizon that we can’t wait to share with you! From plays, films, music events and more click here to discover what we are currently working towards, when you can see them, and how you might be able to get involved!

Past Projects

Now in its third year The Greenhouse has a whole collection of work under its belt that has been performed all over the United Kingdom. From building the first ever Zero-waste performance space at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019 to Storytelling events at the Design Museum in Kensington – you can learn more about all the stories we’ve told here

Our Venue

Our venue is at the very heart of what we do. An in-the-round space with a clear roof that connects audiences to each other and to the world around them. A space which one journalist very generously described as a “wood cathedral”. We’re pretty proud of it – take a look!
