Our events and workshops go one step further, helping you put that newfound inspiration into action. Below is our collection of everything else that’s going on at The Greenhouse this summer in Canary Wharf. General Events and Workshops

The Greenhouse is open and ready to welcome you! Join us on our opening night for an evening full of music, lawn games, and fun, leading in to our opening performance of As You Like It. Dig out your best garden party attire!
Climate Model UN
Sat July 31st, 4:30pm (2 hours)
Get nerdy at The Greenhouse and hark back to your debate-club secondary school days with our climate-focused model UN. Play out a future climate negotiations, debates, and conflicts between countries.
Sustainable Clothes Repair
Sun August 1st, 4:30pm (2 hours, drop-in)
Come learn simple sewing skills that will allow you to mend torn clothing, reattach buttons, and fix socks. You will also learn about the future of sustainability in the fashion industry, and how you can be a more conscious consumer!
How to Spot Greenwashing

Differentiating between genuine environmental action and greenwashing is getting more and more difficult. In this workshop, learn from experts in sustainability marketing and comb through popular ad campaigns to identify greenwashing.

Saturday mornings are for families at The Greenhouse. At 10:30am on every Saturday, we’re offering a programme of events and workshops specifically aimed at our younger audiences, as part of Canary Wharf’s programme for families this summer. We’re excited to welcome you and your little ones!
Storytime (all ages)

Join The Greenhouse this Saturday morning for a fun and exciting storytime! Our Artistic Director (and fan of all things fantastical) Oli Savage will be reading his favourite collection of nature based stories. Hear about animals, plants, and world around us at this interactive event for all ages.
Scavenger Hunt (4+)

The Greenhouse needs your help! Everyone has spent so long indoors over the last year, they’re starting to forget what makes the outdoors so special. Following our checklist, gather photos of all the wonderful things nature has to offer in the park, to show how even the smallest of green spaces can be filled with wonder!
Upcycling Craft Session (4+)
Sat Aug 14th, 10:30am to 12:30pm (drop in)
Join us for a sustainable crafting session. Learn to make a birdfeeder and a pen pot out of items you can find in your recycling bin! We’ll provide everything that you need, but if you have any useful-looking bits and bobs from around the house bring them along and we’ll help you turn them in to something beautiful.
